It is with great pleasure that we announce Marnie Farness as the
editor of the Service To Servants monthly e-newsletter. The first edition is expected to be
ready by the end of March and a firm release schedule will be
maintained.
The purpose of the e-newsletter is to keep our supporters
(prayer, financial, service and others) abreast of the major areas of
activity and interest as STS serves God’s Kingdom work in Liberia.
Marnie Farness, with her husband John, were both born and raised
in the Portland/Vancouver area. The Lord graciously saved both of
them in high school and they married soon after. Together they
have four children, Emily, Garrett, Meg and Natalie. Emily and
Garret are currently attending Vancouver School
of the Arts, while Meg and Natalie are being homes-schooled.
John has
served as an Elder at Living Water Community Church since 2001. He
has a strong desire to encourage others in their commitment and
faithfulness to the local Body. John and Marnie oversee the
Children’s Ministry at LWCC. They both strongly desire to impart
to the next generation a zeal for God through the teaching of His
Word.
