On July 15th Carl Hadley and Dusty Rhodes brought a one ton truck load of supplies from Bonifay to Murfreesboro along with a trailer and fuel storage tank purchased by Tom Robershaw of California

After breakfast Carl asks, “Do We really want to begin unloading all these supplies?”

Carl bringing in 72 composition books.

Dusty shows his dexterity and his trend setting fashion style as he brings in two arm loads of school supplies.

Not to be outdone Rodney brings in 96 at once.

With most of the large items taken to a warehouse, the school supplies at up to quite a stack.

On July 28th Frank & Joann Moore loaded up a crew cab pickup truck and a U-Haul trailer and started a two day trip to deliver all the goods collected by Suwannee Baptist Church to Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

10 wheelchairs that will help several medical clinics in Liberia.

Brent Halks, Frank Moore and Howard Hamilton of Suwannee Baptist stand in front of a loaded U-Haul trailer.  By the time we finished unloading it I almost wished the folks there were not so generous.

Chuck Clark of Clark Iron & Metal and Frank Moore unhook the trailer at Chuck’s scrap yard so the truck can be unloaded.

The entire back seat of Frank’s truck was loaded with school supplies for the children of Liberia.

The people of Clark Iron & Metal assist with the unloading of several bicycles.

Frank gets in on the action as more bikes are unloaded.

The bicycles will be used by the teachers at the Children’s Village to travel to the children’s school and home again each day.  Most teachers may less than $80 per month.

Chuck and Frank question how they’ve let Rodney talk them into another hard job.  Actually they both are faithful workers for the children of Liberia.

On Tuesday, August 1st (a day that shall live in infamy) Chuck Clark and Rodney, Gayla, Luke, Rebekah & Elizabeth Edwards load the 40’ shipping container in 98 degree heat.

Here’s the 40’ refrigerated shipping container furnished by the generous folks at Suwannee Baptist Church

This Caterpillar 100kw generator was purchased last year but did not arrive in time to put in the last shipment to Liberia.  This year it makes it in secured to a tough military trailer.

John Meyer and Dave De Lozier make sure that this generator (and another 40kw unit not pictured) work properly before being placed into the container.

It’s 6am and time to get started.

A truck load of folding chairs & two bicylcles.

A small trailer load of school supplies along with some tires donated by Christian Hidalgo of Navigation Advertising.

Ed, of Clark Iron & Metal, helps by pulling in a U-Haul trailer load of school, medical and other supplies provided by Suwannee Baptist Church and delivered all the way from Florida by Frank and Joann Moore.

Here’s a small amount of the supplies that stretches several yards down the side of the loading dock.

Another view of the donated goods along with a large battery donated by Dave De Lozier of Murfreesboro.

A pallet containing 2,400 composition books for the children attending the school at the Children’s Village.  Also, there are containers of food for Carol Chambers of Dothan, AL who is returning to the Children’s Village to teach for another year (thank you Carol).

Gayla, Rebekah & Elizabeth Edwards makes sure that every item is marked with the initials of the ministry that is to receive it.

Elizabeth takes exception to having her picture taken.

A railroad yard full of items bound for Liberia.  All done to the glory of God and His son, Jesus the Christ.

It became so hot and we were in such a rush to get the container loaded that we didn’t take anymore pictures.  Believe me the container was fully packed when we left.  See a list of all the contents here.
