So we’re off on a direct flight to Brussels.  Not stopping in Dakar saves a substantial amount of time.  We arrive in Brussels around 6:00am and Dion suggests (with no dissenters) that we get 2 rooms at the Sheraton Hotel across the street so that we can all take a shower, shave and catch a short nap before leaving for Washington DC.  Our layover is almost 7 hours so we have the time.  We’ll also get some breakfast at the breakfast buffet downstairs.  I doubt it will be any better than what we had at Christine’s.

I had thought we would get an internet connection while at the airport to kill time and, thus, I would upload this.  But we decided not to hook up in the hotel since we were more interested in resting and cleaning up.  I’m writing this here but will likely not send it until we get home.

I’m still writing this in the hotel room and it’s starting to sound like a lumberjack convention between Dion and Ken’s snoring.
