Meeting Notes

June 19, 2006

RM = Richard Morris, DB = David Bearchell, ME = Matt Elsberry,

GE = Gayla Edwards, RE = Rodney Edwards

RM & RE in attendance

DB – ME is in transition between Rio De Janero to Colorado Springs.  RM is at a leadership conference.

DB – Opened in prayer.

RE – Our main items for today are 1) prayer warrior, 2) contacts and 3) case statement

DB – My administrative assistant, Beccy Lanier, has a huge heart for prayer, loves the international work and has older children which allows time to focus.  She’s local, already engaged and is fulfilling this need with Crazy Missionary.  Okay to speak with her about this opportunity?

RE – Absolutely.  We want the person that God sends.  I will not pursue this further until you’ve spoken with Beccy.

DB – We need the same prayer warrior within Liberia that is a counterpart to the U.S. person.  Who can we contact to help us find this person?

RE – Perhaps this person will come from the initial trip to set up the Crown event committees.

DB – When are we going to make the initial trip.

RE – I think it will be the first two weeks of August.  We’ll need to do the ground work by email first so that the key leaders are basically on board before we go.

DB – I have a supporter who has MS Exchange Server and he will ask them to host Outlook for us for a central database accessible to everyone with permission.  This will allow people everywhere to sign on and participate in adding contacts, etc.  David will try to have this settled by next meeting.

RE – I am behind in getting the case statement expanded so that we’re ready to begin sending it to people for informational purposes.

DB – Haven’t been able to review the case statement and Crown statement yet.  This week is a time to get up to speed on this.  Then we can get friends who would review and give an honest opinion.  RM has a real gift for this type work as well so we want to fully leverage him.

RE – Closed in prayer.
